Okay ::deep breath:: here is everything that has happened since my last post.

Once school finished up, I moved back to Savannah for the summer.  I ended up moving in with Ashley sortly after classes finished.  I continued to work at the Sand Gnats waitressing and pouring beer.  My frustration for the Sand Gnats this season is unrivaled.  Any previous season that I thought was bad can not compare.  Things were so disorganized that it drove me insane but I digress.  I found that I still had a lot of spare time and I found myself rather bored so I decided to get a second job.  I was hired at Barnes as a server.  I worked there for about a month before I decided I could not take it anymore.  I was there from 9:30 every morning until 5:00 each night and I worked 5 to 6 days a week and the tips did not reflect the amount of work that I had to do.  They were very upset when I quit but oh well.

My summer began to improve when I talked to Mike (one of the managers at Chilis) and he said that I could probably get a job working there as a server.  And in the end, I did get a job at Chili's and I was happy.  This happened around the beginning of July I think.  Chilis is a million times better place to work than Barnes.

In mid-July, Ashley and I took a trip down to Florida to go see Cirque de Soleil for our anniversary.  The trip was pretty fun considering everything we did while we were there.  We went to Islands of Adventure and Margaritaville.  Cirque de Soleil was absolutely amazing.  It had to be one of the coolest performances I have ever seen.  It was worth every penny and if you have never seen it, go!  It is wicked good.  On a less happy note, shortly after the vacation, Ashley and I broke up.  I'm not going to go into the details.  You already know the details if I wanted to talk about it.

To answer anyone's next question, yes, I am seeing someone else now.  His name is Jonathan and I met him through Chilis.  He is a theatre major at Armstrong and will be graduating in the Spring.  He and I have had a lot of fun together so far and I'm hoping that the good times will continues.  I am really happy with the way things are right now.

This is kind of where I am now.  I am back at Georgia Southern for my senior year.  I am taking 9 hours this semester and I will be taking 14 hours next semester.  I will graduate in the Spring with an Honors B.A. in Philosophy with a double minor in Theatre and Religious Studies.  I am currently working on my honors thesis with Dr. Drake (the new philosophy professor).  I am doing research on Sartre and I am going to talk about philosophical themes in his literature.

I think that is all for now.  Hopefully I will try to update a little more often but it has been difficult not having internet access in my apartment.
